We are in Vietnam !!
Landed in Ho Chi Minh City tonight. We are staying at a hotel close to the airport in anticipation of our trip to Da Nang tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately we will only arrive in Da Nang tomorrow evening. This will prevent us from seeing Kieran until Monday. Being that close to him but not being able to see him will be extremely difficult.
The hotel is ok but a huge adjustment from the Sheraton in Bangkok. Anyway we had no problems getting through customs and passport control. What was surprising for us was the number of people waiting at international arrivals. There must have been about 250 people in a huge semi-circle outside of the arrivals door. The semi-circle of people was four to five people deep at times and walking out to a mob of that scale was pretty intimidating.

Got your message. We're up EARLY! Probably be at breakfast by 6:00! Hopefully kids in better moods after 12 hrs of sleep!
